The Solution

The final logo features a stylized “R” with a coffee cup cleverly integrated into its negative space — a subtle yet effective visual that immediately signals the café’s nature. This minimalist, modern design translates well across platforms and has been extended across packaging, loyalty cards, signage, and other branded materials, creating a unified and recognizable identity.

The Brief

Riv Café, named using the Persian word “Riv,” needed a brand identity that would resonate with both English and Farsi-speaking audiences. The client was open to either script but wanted a logo that clearly communicated the café concept. The design also had to be versatile enough for signage, packaging, printed menus, and various branded touchpoints.
