The Solution

The card featured a bold, friendly photograph of John seated on a chair — taken under the direction of Rennie’s brand team to ensure consistency with the company’s visual standards. Using Rennie’s fonts and corporate colour palette, the layout remained clean and professional while incorporating hand-drawn illustrations and handwritten-style typography to soften the tone and add personality. The result was an inviting, well-balanced design that felt polished yet personal — a perfect introduction tool to spark new client conversations.

The Brief

John Hircock, a real estate advisor based in Victoria, wanted a custom folded card to introduce his services and invite potential clients to connect over a coffee chat. The design needed to feel personal, warm, and approachable — and it also had to be aligned with its real estate marketing brokerage, Rennie’s brand guidelines.
